Do you know a source (with international shipping) for a boot mat that covers the whole floor to the rear footwell? I have removed the rear seat and using FL1 as a van, so those widely available boot mats are too short.

So this is what I'm looking for. Unfortunately no international shipping.

The FL1 comercial has a different shape between the rear wheel arch and back light part of the boot, so even if you bought a commercial mat it wouldn't fit. The Commercial also has a metal table that fills the rear footwell to give a platform for a plywood floor with lashing eyes recessed into it, that runs from front of back foot well ie back of front seats to back of boot floor, between the fishtank lit cover and the tailgate door sill trim. Most of those parts are getting expensive and rare, but they are well within the scope of anyone to make approximate copies of, and the plywood floor would be the perfect pattern for cutting some generic rubber matting to suit. What you save buying generic rubber matting would more than pay for the timber to make the floor and it's front supports. While the original front floor supports were part of the metal frame work that formed the mesh bulkhead / loadguard, there'd be nothing stopping you just using some timber battons, say 50mm x 50mm (2" x 2" in real money), to make a rough frame

Already did one using generic rough mat material, cut it to shape of the boot but wasn't satisfied with the material itself. I'd want to save the rear footwells as they are, because they hold bags and stuff in place when driving but want to cover the oem boot carpet with something that doesn't hold dog hair and other stuff so tight.

I've found the rubber mat in my Freelander to be a bit yeh-nah.

Mine's a leaky one and the rubber mat means it never dries out. So the carpet's toast and the tie downs are all rusted up.

But you can't see it cos of the rubber mat!

I think that’s ok like that ?
The Land Rover ones are heavy and well built so cost shipping might make it very expensive over to you

It came out ok. The rubber is thinner that I originally was thinking but does the job and it's easy to remove if needed.

That’s the nature of rubber mats. I'm one of those lucky ones to have Hippo that doesn't leak water in or oil under ;) I think typically these leak from the rear door seals?
