They're Ok on here about us going to other forums and giving 'em a mention. The chaps here are NICE PEOPLE. Not like the ******s who run Benzworld: I used to be on there quite a bit. One day I got a PM telling me about a new Merc forum that might be worth a look (PointedThree Forums Forums) so I went across and had a look, said hello etc. Next time I tried to log in to Benzworld access was denied. I re-registered under a new username and asked admin why I was banned. They told me it was because of "abuse":confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I don't go there any more (which is a bit of a shame, coz it was a good source of info for Unimogs) blah blah blah...

It's all working again now Server problems apparently.

with regards to the Yorkshire 6 apparently they weren't on the public right of way when the farmer collared them So it seems they were in the wrong after all surprise surprise.

half a dozen 4x4 owners went greenlaning up near langdale and strayed off course "got lost" the local farmer turned nasty snatched the keys from the lead vehicle and called the cops. Who gave them all a fixed penalty fine and a section 59 notice. They've been very good about protesting their innocence and trying to organise a protest. But rather slow at giving out the exact location of the incident.

Thanks for the link, it was them but on mud-club claimed to be a 4x4 reponse team

Will try to improve my english

Similar thing has happened in Wales, well known club all prim and proper claiming to follow strict glass guidelines, assoicate member of glass, supporters of some response lot, website full of "its them illegal off roaders" who get us a bad name etc. Well known on other forums for reporting illegal off roaders, go and get themselves done for "driving not on the road" and "threating behaiour" and a section 59.

Slightly different circumtances following a known route not knowing that it was diverted some years ago. I think the new landowner took execption tried to reason but then blocked the access and called the plods, but also he was lead to believe that the nerc act stopped all unsurface driving. Some legal issues still not sorted, it seems the leader got a sect.59 but others not had the letter yet.

They have at least admitted it and not advertising the fact they got caught, some members of the group not at all happy of course, esp. with the person/organisation who marked the map and wrote the route plan.

It was originally posted on Yorkshire and Humberside 4x4 response teams website, and copied onto the Mud-club site. But the trip wasn't a YH4x4 event. I think 1 or 2 of the tresspassers?? are members though.

Still sorry to hear it

Such things like this don't half destroy a groups morale this is the second time this year i have heard a group i go with have had hassle like this.

Begining to think its all part of a "big anti plan" hit a few groups, often well known players, and we all give up

If it was that lot then I can't believe they deliberately "trespassed". And am certain it was all a mistake and have been made an example of.

No one's saying it was deliberate but after the event they tried to make out they were in the right and had been wrongly accused. when the opposite was true and when doubts were raised became very reluctant to give specifics.
