I've just put £50 of biodiesel (B100) in my disco from nearly empty. I know i need to clean sedimentor bowl out and change filter at around 500 mile.
By wed/thurs i'd of done around 200 mile, i'll then be going away covering an extra 600 miles.
Would i be better of changing filter and cleaning sedimentor before i go at about 200 miles or do you think it'll be too early, and won't of pulled much crap through, and better off doing filter change when i get back at 800 miles? What would you lot do?

Thanks

I just mean at 200 miles is it likely to have not pulled all the crap through, basically, if i change the filter at 200 miles will it of had enough time, or will i end up changing filter 300/400 miles later?

Stop worrying!

Biodiesel is fine.

It is always a good plan to carry several spare fuel filters in any diesel engined vehicle. I carry two spares in my TD5 Disco.

Just drive on enjoying the benefits of a cleaner more powerful fuel.

Ignore all the kill-joys who disparage BioDiesel. They just don't know, or made a bog of their efforts to make the stuff.
