bought the disco with these on, set of 5, but are they original discovery wheels or off something else as my mate dont think they are off a discovery, and neither of my grandads or mates d1s /2s have had these on.

I know a Disco 1 with these wheels, but I thought they had been added after, didn't know they were the original set

I think LR should have kept them, they are more "sexy" without being too flashy as most alloy are

Cheers for that guys!

mines a 200tdi - rather then an early 300tdi - on a k plate.

Yes they are D1 wheels, early 300 series they are called "Castor".

Great view by the way...:D

Yeah is a great view, thats Hinkley Point A & B power stations in the background, we went for a 10mile off road drive on the way home across the Quantocks :tape: after picking me mates kids up!

I can see they horrible things anorl on a clear day............from tother direction

It's easly recongizable as a 200 by the front lights so they are replacement wheels from a 300 series.

Your disco if fitted with alloys from the factory would have possably had "Cyclone" thats the 5 spoke wheel with the spokes slightly slanting.

As always several wheel styles were offered, on a 300 as an option when new, possibly Castor was one of them and so were not standard fitment.
