What should I use to clean my steering wheel?

Sounds like a silly question....

I have a cream leather item which is looking a bit grubby. Any suggestions for cleaning solutions??

Hi, I have the same problem & use Autoglym Interior Shampoo, about once a Month, keeps it clean & will clean just about anything.

Thanks folks,

Tried foam cleaner yesterday, which lifted 50% of the muck. I'll try some of the new suggestions.

Guess its my own fault for getting in the vehicle after handling dirty / greasy spares.
