What should 140-50psi feel like

From the eas compressor, i put a seal kit in but after running wires from battery to test it, yes there's more air coming out but nowhere i doubt near the right amount. I know taking a valve out a tyre at about 30 it's a big enough hiss ect so i'd immagine 140odd would be some amount to be able to lift the Rangy

theres a lot of air in a tyre a tiny amount coming out of those compressors

The reservoir is pressurised to 150psi, however the compressor won't be producing that out the outlet, it takes around 6mins to fill the tank to that capacity.

You shouldn't be able to hold your finger over the outlet of the compressor when it is running ;)

come on then 'enry :p if it doesn't make 150psi, where does the eggstra pressure come from??

The tank under the seat has to be pressurised to 150psi, the compressor with a piston that small in my mind wouldn't be able to supply 150psi from the get go..

I'm sure someone knows the output pressure of the compressor ;)

If the tank is at 150psi then pump must be able to produce that but just not very much of it per rev
Best test is to put your finger over the end. If you can hold finger over it then its not enough

The compressor should if in good order produce around 175psi at the outlet shortly after start up. If by placing a finger over the outlet flow can be stopped the compressor needs servicing. If the compressor is in good order air should be forced past the finger.

Thanks chaps I'm putting a new front bag on shortly and will have a keek at the air coming out it again.
The previous owner said he put new back ones on a couple of years and had new new fronts but didn't fit them, why I don't remember what he said but I've now got them and put one so will do the other shortly.
I'm thinking about a spring conversion from Rimmer as it's the same price of a new compressor, not sure though as the purists and haters will speak up but then it's not them driving it.... just a thought though.

But as I say, I'll put the other new bag since I've got it and take it from there.

What I should say though..... after fitting the new drivers side front I got constant 4 lights on the button, before that they always flashed so see what happens when the pass side fronts on...... still won't lift though I know that so god knows what else will need replaced

The EAS is pretty simple to sort out, might I suggest you get someone who knows what they are doing to look at it.
