hi every one as you can see i have only just joined. i am after a defender or series land rover for tree surgery. i am 16 at the mo and 17 in 7 months as im at collage studying horticulture and qulifying for my chainsaw licence i can recieve farmers insurence for a land rover. in this 7 months i hope to either get one and do it up to a road legal standard or just get one thats mot and taxed but im not exactly sure what to get i would prefer a tin top but a pick up or anything would be fine but i would prefer a short wheel base. as i am skint and young i cant aford a v8 
not just the insurance but the fuel is an issue so i was thinking of lpg or veg oil or somthing so what are the fuel ocinamy on the smaller engines, can you get lpg on those.
any info would be great
