luckily it was 1 of the old warn out bfg's not the new insa specials :D
there was a great big rock i did'nt see at the top of the "tube" that place has got quite a bit morte interesting snice our last visit seems about ready for some tw@t from the council to TRO it

Replaced a missing door strap on the passenger side, put a new petrol cap on (old one didn't lock).
Then took it on a lane for the first time since buying her (only a short one) and got her muddy for the first time :)

I didn't do anything to my current landy but I did go and look at another one for the ballast. The vehicle under my scrutiny was a 200tdi disco. I was meant to have gone around yesterday but I got a phonecall when I was 5 mins away telling me that the seller had gone out. I was supposed to have been going offroading today but as the landy was meant to be a low mileage and rot free example I decided it was best to cancel todays plans and view the landy instead.

I wouldn't call it 'rot free' but in it's current state I would say it was salvageable. It needs 2 rear tyres, boot floor welding, rear crossmember/bumper, and is out of tax. The engine has only 100k on the clock and the owner has all mot's from new. I'm sorely tempted. The only thing putting me off is that the MOT is due in april. That means trying to get the welding done over winter.:eek::eek:
