Managed to get my disco started afterr doing the head and core plugs but now have a water leak on the inlet side, low down near the timing cover but cannot pinpoint the source 8(

This thing will bloody work one day lol!

Alright matey all the underside is sealed and ive painted the steering guard, done all the oils today done the antifreeze aswell just got the cb to refit tomorrow then shes all ready to rock n roll for the winter.

the td5 is sorted gave it a good blow out down the A303 and no sign of the cutting every 2 miles or so , after much puzzlement and hair loss by prosess of elimination ie; new fuel pump , 2 new fuel filters , new copper seals on filter housing pipes and ptfe on all connection i could get at, and finally replacing of all the injector seals :D
 
Stripped wheels and suspension off the front and rear Series axles. I think I've taken enough stuff apart now - I might actually start cleaning and painting stuff soon!

Striped everything down on my Disco for a P gasket change, aquired parts including new bolts as my old ones had rotten away!

I felt lousy in the afternoon so thought sod it, i'll sort it tomorrow and might actually be able to use the Disco since buying it 3 months ago!
 
Discovered that after wadding through muddy holes yesterday that the handbrake didn't enjoy it and now gets stuck on and requires laying under the truck and giving it a good wack to free it up.
Guess this is why people upgrade to those X-brake things.
