Finally finished my snorkel, some flexi pipe, guttering and half a tube of tiger seal!
Also put my mud tyres back on and mount up my cb and ariel, still gotta wire it up though.
Oh and discovered that removing the 300tdi airbox with blocked filter and fitting a 200tdi airbox and new filter gives the engine some much needed grunt!! :lol:

Painted front bumper, then realised back one then looked like cr@p in comparison, so done that one anorl. Oh and got a CD player off fleabay for a few quid, just need to sort out the wiring which previous owner has so graciously hacked to pieces

Been busy today, Changed my Road wheels to a set of All Terrain ones, installed a 3way 12v Power supply on the dashto run the Garmin, PDA with Memory Maps on, and the GPS receiver, tryed to get the Boot Tie Down ings fitted but the clentch nuts are rusted and the tread will not hold.

Bought a laptop charger to go in mine. I emptied my laptop bag out while looking for one of my dongles and forgot to put the charger back in. Not good when you find out it aint there and yer on holiday.:doh::doh::doh:
On the plus side I get to drive my landy all week and I'm getting my proper quota of chippies every day.

Bet it doesn't leek any more than one with a roof and you wont have to worry about chips in the windscreen at mot time either

yup
instead of opening the rear door to get the passenger out, they decided to cut the roof orf.
The only damage to the disco (apart from above) was a smear of red paint on the tow ball. The other car had a dented bonnet. Bastids!.

Took my landy for another spin around the isle of Wight. It took me for anuvver visit to my favourite chippy. If yer ever visiting the island you gotta stop in the Rainbow fish bar in Freshwater.

On the disco...changed the front pipe (requires several extension bars & cable ties!!) and fitted HID kit as I seem to be going blind in me oldie age...

I ended up lifting the front axle which made much more room!
Got me head done today just a few bits left to chuck on in the morrow and get her fired up. I'll be crossing everything!

Putting the new pipe on though was a piece of PI55!!! I had to move the ABS modulator & the pas reservoir to get my impact wrench in upside down!!!
Good luck with the head...once its running-dont switch it off too soon!! my mate did his, switched it off after a minute & it wouldnt start again!

Removed headlamp surround,s/b unit etc.removed 21 yo headlamp shell cos i could put my finger thru it.Fitted new plastic shell and reassembled.

Just done Blue Peter job on my Snorkel with some sticky back plastic.....
It was a stainless southdown, but that did not look quite right, so i covered it in black...was going to paint it, had some fablon lying arout so plastic coated it.....
wonder how long it will last???????
