yeah I'd thought about doing that. I'm gonna give it a go first though, and see how badly I fail to judge how much tutoring I'm gonna need

Haven't done anything tae mine the day apart from order some new suspension. Hopefully here fur the morn so's ah can get it fitted this weekend

Checked out all my lights, took all the lenses off and cleaned em inside, replaced some bulbs and a dodgy fuse. Tested the towing electrics and fitted the hitch ready for collecting my sankey trailer on Saturday.

Checked mine too n sprayed all connections with wd40 tho Daft recommends vasaline

One gearbox out as it was locked in reverse gear and got the new one in. All I need to do now is finish bolting it all in. Done it all while the UK was sleeping

WD is ok but it evaporates a bit too quickly, tis better than nowt tho. I used a waterproofing spray grease (which I failed to post) :doh:

woohooo, only 1 more sleep to go lol
we towed our old trailer tent with the Pig down to the farm for storage last week, while doing the light test Hubs said the surprise in my voice that they all worked was classic

Picked up me new shocks and springs today. Might make a start on changin' them tonight just so's ah can get rid o' the feckin' crap britpart super gaz ones!

Bin plutterin' about wi' some stuff and decided tae stick a corner on just fur the hell of it

Was sick on the dashboard on the M5, was still warm when i wiped it up

Fitted a new stub axle and wheel bearing on nearside rear.

Fitted remapped ECU & performance air filter (Alive Tuning)...now to find somewhere to go playing! It goes like bleedin stink now!
Also fitted new bonnet cable & latch.

stuck some gun gum in the gap between the exhaust manifold and pipe then wrapped some exhaust bandage around it

Today went to South Welshland to fetch a shed that came from 10 miles down the road originally. It came with a catflap and looks like it was painted with a spoon. Thats tomorrow sorted then.

yu will NEVER fit thru a cat flap, Si. Dont even try .

Today was quite Productive. The sun was shining and I managed to get some bits sorted for my long awaited axle swap.
So today I managed to wirebrush my front axle casing:





Managed to get some paint on my rear hubs and back plate:



Also managed to paint the front radius arms and prep the bushes ready to be replaced:



Also managed to split a low milage LT77 from a borg warner tranny box the output shafts looks like new! Genuine 34K miles apparently:
