MMM I'd still go with stage one V8 what's the lever in the centre of the seatbox do?? If it's a stage one it'll be difflock. If it is a stage one it'll have lt95 gearbox.
the lever in the middle is the push pull for vac operated diff and looks like lt95 box same as mine which was from early range rover

And stage ones? Which were made up until 1985. Tis a very rare old beast if it is a stage one Though

Ere Robint you keep that thing under lock & key until I get back.:blabla: Don't be letting any vultures pick it to pieces until I've had a proper look at it. :D

dont rush back i will go and keep it safe for him:D

Finished me suspension this mornin' after realisin' that the steerin' guard had tae come off tae let the axle drop a bit more:doh: Waxoyled some of the chassis then took it fur a test drive... then another... then another...... much better;):D

if its an early 110 V8 and you break it can I have dibs on the front axle and interior parts price depending? Lol I think you should do it up tho if you can

Picked up a used roof tent for a decent price, figured out how to latch it on until I could get it home and do the job right... a couple extra holes needed in the roof rack.

Went to a nearby parking lot and jacked the 110 for the first time to check which bearing needs work, front left one it seems. Realized that working with a bottle jack is going to be a pain and am wondering how to make it easier... trolley jack not an option I think as the plan is to head to Africa for a while.

Spent time reading my Haynes manual about upcoming repairs (steering dampener, front bearing, all brake pads) and ordered all the needed bits and pieces... still new to this so I hope I didn't forget any important bits. Still need to pick up a dremel tool and one of those funky hub nut sockets.

Decided to buy a 600w pure since wave inverter from ebay (Germany) since I couldn't find any places to buy one here in Belgium (I must be looking in the wrong places).

I have a lot to do in the next month before I need to take a trip up to York (from Belgium) and still nowhere to really do it! Gah! I hate not having a driveway.

Scrap it? You are having a joke! Restore it and sell it to some Yank with more money than sence! They can only import Landy's over 25 Years old over there.
