What have you done to your Landie today.

Its not a recognised cage for events but it looks strong, depends on how you judge safe if you trust the look of it then go for it!
 
Used my 90 with the floor and half the seat box removed to collect some fence panels in me roof rack. 2 new panels fitted and 3 more to go then the neibours can't moan about the messy garden.
 
Welded a hole in drivers footwell and in the A post.
Seems that be every time i patch a hole I find another one:( but at least my weldings getting better with all the practise:)
 
changed the boot floor on(what a bastid of a job) and did a repair to her wheel arch as well as both sills i rebuilt couple of days ago should get through the mot now:D

Tonight ah fitted me fuel tank, stuck the pipes back on, stuck the wires back on and bled it through.... Thank feck! no more usin' the mrs' car:D
Tomorrow ah'll stick me mud flaps on and maybe me swing-away wheel carrier if ah can find the bolts!!:rolleyes: :D:D
 
got the tyre off the rim and binned the fookin tube with the valve ripped off :mad:
got the outside hole welded up ready to get it back to gether for balancing
 
Fitted modulars with mud tyres :)
Cleaned out my rear axle breather.
Tightened up the wheel bearings.
Fitted new bulb behind the clock - now I can see the time in the dark :D
Put on new spare wheel carrier.
 
got the last 2 wheels valve holes welded up and drilled out on the back and re-booted and into the garage for balancing and picked up the 1 i took in yesterday
 
Picked up some exhaust tube from my secret store at Mothers, all set to make a new zorst for the V8 at the weekend! project "wake the neighbours up" is under way!:flame2:

well was the big day for my mates discovery have spent the last week none stop welding most of the common hot spots up and she sailed through the mot :D thank fook:p

I think that old Discos are gonna be getting rarer and rarer in the next few years... ya only have to look at how many 'Disco 200tdi to 90/110 conversion kits' are being sold everywhere and how many are being broken!

yep your dead right this one was one of the first 300 out but it didnt seem to have mega rot in it like the front inner wheel arches were ace door pillars were good the boot floor was ok, but shes was a women and saw it and wanted it changed fabbed up two new sills,and a body mount,a larger plate for the front seat belt mount, and rolled a piece of 2mm for the back wheel arch seatbelt mount as it was looking a bit ripe:p so shes got a good landy for a few years now:D i hope;)

Sounds good, don't know what any of that means, but it sounds like ya did a thorough job! Ima start getting into welding soon. Never done it before but I'm gonna be picking up a little Clarke 150 amp machine soon hopefully :) Can't wait :D
