Took it up to my trusted specialist this morning for some love and care...... have braced wallet for significant impact......

Round trip from Ipswich to Rugby to collect a new saily boat. Didn't miss a beat. I guess she likes towing things.

Not a lot... Took it for its MOT, passed of course as it should with only 46231 miles on the clock which is 688 more than this time last year

So have I, a lot more when I used to drive to Germany in the disco's early days, Calais to the German boarder non stop other than stopping for petrol.

In 1967 Beryl Burton cycled further than that in twelve hours.

Had rad replaced, solving leak on return pipe, heater not gurgling any more, flow restored, full pressure test on system plus chemical test.... Head Gasket intact.....

Auto box oil change completed with filter swap.

Breather pipes re-fixed

The joy of having a simple 300tdi, non of that electronic crap

This was yesterday but it passed its MOT with no advisories after being off the road since April. New gearbox and clutch, oil leak sorted, new bushes all round, changed to an x-engineering hand brake, extended arches. All the usual.
Also here is a picture of how it was back in December alongside the discovery it replaced

fitted half the half leather interior i have just bought, do the rest tomorrow
