I'm running those, great tyres

Changed the front offside hub, bolts came out OK , only issue was the hub was very tight and separating the drive from the hub, both were very tight.

Drives a lot nicer without the hum from the bearing.

Bought a hopefully bargain td5 face-lift to go with my 50th anniversary, n reg off roader, p reg 300tdi breaker and p reg v8 rolling shell

Just wish I had the space to keep buying more discos let alone the money to do so!

The lot together cost less than 1500 quid

Replaced the lock on the D3 towbar so it’s removable now.

Washed it. Thoroughly.

Had my new black 16" steelies fitted, looks so much better than with the silver ones.

Cruise control fitted and moved quad-band radio head unit up above the drivers sun-visor. A good afternoons work. Plus got the centre dash console to do a double din conversion on it. Plenty of work still to do.

No i have really enjoyed my Landrover ownership, from 2000 until now, 18 years with the D2's, but time seems to pass quickly nowadays, so ive gone and got meslf an Hilux double cab, will do for what i want, but the D2 is an iconic vehicle for me, maybe one day i might get bored and buy another!!!!!! lol just like the one pictured<

Got mine loaded ready for the mot tomorrow

Ordered a new windscreen as the old gained a nice big chip due to a pebble flying out of nowhere ....darn thing.

Any pics mate? I was considering getting some for winter tyres/off roading and keeping a set of road biased on my alloys for summer

Sold my D2 daily runner now im on the look out for a nicer D2 the lads at work are in for a shock
as I will be using my 90 which has 1 seat haha fk the lot of the manky cooonts

how did they find out?
Assuming visually, as apposed to by exhaust emissions, apparently a two pence coin is a perfect fit between two gaskets in the exhaust feed pipe join on the left (right as we look at it) side of the head....

Blanking plate is visible, bizarrely because there's a passenger air bag there has to be one on the steering wheel even if neither of them work
