What do you call the 'plugs' / 'seals' that temporarily fit on engine parts to protect them ?

If you remove - say - a fuel pump - and you have quite a few inlet and outlet pipes / unions etc - it is best to seal them with the small plastic type plugs - like in the enclosed picture - (the yellow and red 'plugs' / 'caps')

I need some for a fuel pump from an l series that is going into hibernation / storage) - but, I am unsure of what to search for to get them.//

they are called plastic plugs or caps,tapered plastic plugs are the easiest for pipes etc, used a lot but usually bought them in bulk
