Doing my water pump this weekend. Looked at RAVE.

Do I really need to take the radiator out? With the fan off, there looks to be enough space, or isn't there?

Advice from those that have done it would be appreciated before I either break something or do it the hard way! :)

tnx

Nik

its only about 10 mins more work to remove the rad probably cost you more than 10 mins to work around it plus its always a good idea to take it out and flush it as often as possable

Good advice I agree, except it's only 3 weeks old. Why oh why didn't I have the pump done when it was in the garage with a burst rad. :)

Ok, I'll take it off if it's not that hard.

tnx

this is a diesel?

then, remove the fan /belt and your away.
absolutely no need to remove the radiator...
do Data fan mod and don't bother putting your fan back on.
much better access for in the field repairs.

good luck.
