Hi guys just bought a 1987 vogue se on petrol/lpg, iam virginal to this as i have a discovery 3 tdv6s, iam wanting to off road with it so i think my 1st purchase should be a snorkel, then some wheels and tyres, and then possibly something i have missed.
Please help with ideas of where to get said items plus how to fit.
Thanks Bigcol:)

Tyres are first i think mate! There the only things in contact with the ground and if theres no traction a snorkel wont help!Id also say recovery points are essential maybe the very first mod(it was one of my first)but i get stuck alot.Youll have plenty of fun with ya classic and she might surprise ya with what she can do stock.Im in the process of doing mine but funds wont allow it to be a quick job

Thanks for that goonarmy, i have spoken the father of one of sons mates from school, he has a bobtail disco, and he has given me some real good tip's, like taking the front valence off before i rip it off, and as you said some towing point's with a purchase of a tow rope:D :D too giddy at the moment.
Cheers Colin.

If your getting a snorkel then that means you gona be wading , you need a wading plug otherwise your gearbox wont last very long with all that mud and sand in it, and some axle breathers too, lots of contact spray (WD 40)on the leads plugs dizzy etc the trick is to keep the water and much out as much as you can, that way you'll have less brake downs, and maintenance to do later
