Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone out there can shed a little light on my 'annoying' problem?
I have just had a new clutch and dual mass flywheel fitted to my 52 plated Freelander TD4.
Since picking it up from the garage, there is a really annoying vibration/tizzing noise coming from the bottom of the 'A' post trim area and the side of the dash.
The garage did say they had replaced the master cylinder as a first check to see if that was causing my problem, but it made no difference, so they put my existing master cylinder back.
I don't know if something has been dislodged, but I can't find anything loose.
any ideas???
Nigel

P.S. it was in the garage as II was unable to select gears.

Hi Nodge68, I will check tonight. I had noticed the brake pipes that run across the bulkhead were no clipped in place, but even after securing them the noise is still there.

thanks.

Check everything else in the area, especially items bolted to the engine that could strike the body. It's also worth checking the engine mounts too. From my experience, anything not fitted correctly to the inner wing can cause noise in the A post.
