Right ive just moved back to the uk
moved into a new build town house ,which of course has the GARAGE is under the house

Just have one big problem !!! the discovery is to high to get in the garage door !!!!!!
the garage door when fully open is only 198 cm high

it has air suspension on the disco ,could i just undo the air lines to the rear to drop the car to the lowest it can go ,to get the gar in the garage??? or let all the rear tyres right down????

Im only asking this random question as the car just failed the MOT because the chassis has a big hole in it that needs to be welded !!!! so need to get it in my garage to work on her else im sure the neighbours will be complaining if im going it on the side of the road lol

cheers
griff

if you have access to hawkeye or nanacom you can put it in transit mode through the diagnostic port, that drops it onto the bump stops

well thanks JOHNLAD you where correct, just gone throw the menu on my hawkeye, set it to transport mode and now the back end is slammed down to the bump stops :) and looks like it will prob just get under the garage door now :)

be aware that in transport mode you'll not have courtesy lights more than 15 secs and it's not a procedure to be used too often cos insisting too much with it the BCU might get stuck there then you'll not be happy... better get a lowering kit

to exit the transit mode you might not need hawkeye again, simultaneously hold down the heated rear window switch and the rear fog lamp switch, turn the ignition switch from 0 to II and, after a minimum of 2 seconds, release the switches.

hopefully this is the one and only time i will need to do it,once in garage i will repair chassis the once back out of garage take it out of transport mode

but i will defo be getting one of those kits to lower it in the future for when im connecting the trailer ,but all my money right now will have to go on getting it fixed first

Might be the only time for the chassis, but bet you will need to get it back in there on a semi-regular basis. Its a landy after all!
Get hold of an old set of wheels/tyres and keep them with minimal air, so they can be used to run it in as/when required, without upsetting the BCU etc.

yay it worked i got her under the garage door !!!!

But god its tight!!! on height and also as you can see below just space lol
had to put everything else to the back of the garage but it only just fits

the door closes with just 2 cm spare lol,so now i have to try and fix the chassis
