How much did the log book cost you to buy cos £150 sounds a bit over the top to me. I think they usually cost in the region of bugger all?

Surely if you sold the chassis without the log book it'd be useless and vice versa the logbook without the chassis (unless you are intending to sell a vehicle identity without the vehicle)?:(

What Ratty says about the logbook - you might want to rethink that chap before you put a lot of people's backs up or worse.

And why now!? I could have done with the chassis for Scratchy. Although you being in Belfast makes it not quite so bad. I know Pikey's after one but he'll have the same collection issues.

How much for the enjun without rad or boxes?

I can re chassis a vehicle with a new chassis - all I'm doing is selling parts here. I don't think there's anything wrong in doing that? I will listen to experience? I still have the original bulkhead, axles, body etc that go with the logbook and id.

I am happy to keep the logbook if anyone has an issue with this. The logbook is not for sale separately as you can see but a chassis with logbook naturally has more value.

I will be selling the engine/box/transfer etc in one lump sorry.

Folks, I'm not here to annoy anyone or rub backs up, just to sell bits to fund a really exciting build which I hope folk will follow and enjoy.

Happy to take logbook off thread but you can see its not for sale separately - it gives a good basis for a 'legal' project.

Hope you understand.

So you think 2 vehicles running around with the same chassis number is normal?

So how is that the case?

I am not or would not do anything illegal, stop trying to turn this into something it's not. I know the law and it will not be compromised!!!!

Fyi Ratty if the chassis is bought without the logbook it'll not have an id. That will be discussed with the buyer.

Well with the support you get from fellow members probably... You see where I come from if someone thought what you were doing was wrong or misinterpreted they'd ring or PM you, not ruin you thread...

Actually I came here by recommendation and I have two projects I wanted to post so folk could follow their progress. There is a lot of activity compared to other forums and I've been advised a great support network to assist you when you need it.

I am selling some stuff to support my other builds and if you look around the forum I have been trying to get involved in various threads where I can.

So simply, no I didn't plan to be 'off when I flogged my tat' - interesting choice of words considering that tat is what's under your arse every time you step into your Landy...
