Yer did that test going put valve block back on and c I've the tank fills again it did fill straight from the pipe then jack car up again and look for leak from pipe to tank

Mabey got air coming out the top of the drier lid and I think out the bottom pipe aswell can’t check the bottom pipe till I sort the nanocom out got to plug it into laptop later it’s not starting air from the rad fan blowing bubbles everywhere so will run compressor from nanocom and check

Sounds like you have more holes than the Vernons girl choir.

Yer I can't understand how they all seem to appear together and to make matters worse I'm waiting for a reply from black box about returning the nanocom it's not firing up on plug in even on the laptop so will probably have to return it for them to check it out

Unplugged it with it not on the home screen?

No it's just loading the firmware page in the car and on the laptop just the four pictures where you would choose kernel option for updates but it's just switching itself on and off

Does it have a SD card in it. If it does take it out when you plug it into laptop see what you get maybe it needs an update. .

No card in it when I put the card in it shows the pic of card inserted I can't update it because it just switches on and of continuously you can't select kernel mode for downloading fink it will have to go back I wanted to use it to run compressor without the engine running to trace that air leak because the fan is blowing the soapy water everywhere I will wedge a bit of cardboard in the gap to stop the wind from fan c I've I can trace it better

Shield the drier from the fan air as best you can with some cardboard or some such item. Or you could of course take the pipes out and try reseating them, unscrew the drier top and check the seal. Air goes into the drier at lower connection and out at top connection. Other way round when air is exhausted.

The tank filling process is very easy to understand. Only one solenoid valve is active in this operation. When the ECU receives a signal from the pressure switch that pressure is low. It switches on the compressor, this also powers the diaphragm solenoid valve. This diverts air pressure from the fill/exhaust galley to below the diaphragm valve pushing it against the exhaust port and sealing it. Air is then directed out of position 7 via a 8 mm pipe to the bottom of the drier. Any moisture in the air is absorbed by the silica gel in the drier. Air then passes out of the top of the drier back into the valve block via 8 mm pipe at position 5. It then goes past NRV 1 which holds pressure in the tank into a gallery past the pressure switch and out to the tank via 6 mm pipe at position 6. When the pressure switch sends a signal to the ECU that pressure in the tank is 140 to 150 PSI the ECU switches off the compressor and drops the diaphragm solenoid valve to vent air from below the diaphragm via the 4 mm vent pipe into the harness. High pressure air is then vented past the now unsealed exhaust port to atmosphere in the reverse direction of filling. This blows any moisture present in the silica gel out of the system to atmosphere. The cycle is then complete. If you read my EAS guide you should see instructions on how to run the compressor on and off the car without the engine running. Do not do this for more than five or six minutes without allowing the compressor to cool. If you have a problem filling the tank under normal circumstances first thing to check is that no air is coming out of the exhaust port with compressor running. Then connections to and from the drier and the drier itself. Then the connection to the block of pipe 6 then pipe 6 itself then it's connection to the tank and the tank itself. It is all pretty straight forwards and simple.

Cheers wammers pretty straight forward yer right sounds pretty complicated to me but I think I've narrowed it down to the air drier somewhere to wet and cold now to do anything will check for leaks on the drier pipes I've it stops raining

Took both pipes off the drier no leak on either of them got the nanocom off to blackbox today and battery of the car for a good charge overnight will put new drier and pipes back on car tomorrow fully charged battery and away we go again I hope

You are not trying for the longest leak search in history are you? ;):D:D:D
