could also change your tune resistor and not run cats/lambda sensors to make it easier.
When my speed sensor gets submerged it stops working and has yet to affect the way it runs. It gives signal to both the speedo and ecu. I dont think it's much hassle to fit the later drive unit to the transfer box to be able to fit the speed transducer though.
Looks a little different to the 3.5 loom I had out recently, this has probably got the diagnostic connector fitted also and the relay position is different, need an overview of the whole lot really so we can see if the Hotwire loom is standalone...

The mysterious other 2 wires we we will never know!!
You have to have the neg from the coil or it won't inject so thats 2 wire...maf the other?
ignition feed and battery feed,coil wire is part of loom
