Hahaha that's the feeling I'm talking about, even gives the Mrs a tingle :D

So now I'm on the hunt for decent V8 lump, I'm in no rush as I want to make sure that I get a goodie. Just gonna stick in a 3.5 V8 working alongside the LPG setup I already have installed, I'm sure there will be plenty of hiccups along the way but hey that's the fun of having a landy...wouldn't want it any other way :D

How are you going to put a 4cyl LPG kit on a V8??????

Can't I just get it converted/adapted for the V8?

I don't know as I'm a complete novice with LPG systems etc so any help would be much appreciated.

I have NO knowledge on LPG either but what I do know is a V8 has four more cylinders and a different firing order, so would imagine not but can't be sure

If your going to do it. Do it properly, spend the cash on the right stuff like correct temp senders decent engine mounts, a g box LT85 etc Make it a quality converion otherwise you will forever be sorting it out. overheating and water will be the least of your problems.

Plenty of sheds out there with V8's many have been "converted" not that many that have been converted well.

What are you doing with the old engine??? I may be interested in a swap or somthing if your interested depending in where you are?

Remember 4.2's suffer more with issues search function is your friend me I'd stick a rebuilt 3.5 on Su's (properly rebuilt absolutly standard with new parts no fancy cams or owt). All the parts to convert can be brought as factory items they produced a v8 90 and 110 so parts can be made to bolt on all except engine mounts.

Everything that you've said above is exactly how I am going to do this conversion. I have already got a fitter so now just looking for a sweet engine. Check you inbox as I PM you regarding my engine etc, cheers!
