Hello,

There a closed thread in "Common Faults and Questions" about downloading the above CD images from green-oval.com.

http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f38/rave-cd-downloads-free-46086.html

I'm reasonably good with cars but have to confess am ****e at computers. Can anyone tell me how to actually burn these .iso and .nrg files on to a CD? I tried with IMGBURN and DISCJUGGLER and both went through all the steps (burn image to disc) and then declared the job succesfully completed, but in fact all they did was render my writable CDs unusable but still empty. Any tips on how to do this?

Also does anyone have a T4 Cd they'd be willing to share and what hardware is needed to use it?

Many thanks!

Also whilst this is here, is microcat compatible with windows vista???? I had an issue with an install the other day on vista, but never had a problem on xp before..................

I agree Vista is ****e and I work with the bloody things! Wouldn't recognise my scanner, camera or printer, either new drivers not available or did not work!! I'm back on XP, long live XP. If you have Vista Pro, you can get a free downgrade to XP from Micro****, Vista is that good

you dont need to burn it to disc, just use Alcohol 120 to mount the .nrg or .img file that you downloaded as a virtual drive

there's nothing wrong with Vista, unless your expecting your old peripherals to work with it

I used to use an old crappy laptop purely for Microcat and Rave and that I can use in 'the shed' but mainly 'cos it needed date set yo '06 I think .. then I found a script somewhere that sets date, opens Microcat, then resets it when you drop out of Microcat, so it's now on my decent laptop .. ;)

That's the one .. ;)

Found it late at night/earlymorning and couldn't find it again .. Works very well on XP (We have XP home and Pro).

Cheers.

if using vista, use daemon tools lite, not alcohol 120,daemon is available across the net for free, alcohol will damage vista, hope this helps, also, are there any rave cd,s that cover the rr 3500 v8 efi, mine only seems to cover the 3900cc??...
