Tyres Defender 90 puma 2008

If I wanted to change my tyres on the defender 90....what would people advise?
I have original rims- white and traditional. The tyres are road (not winter). I’d like to take her down green lanes but mostly road. I’m in the countryside and the roads aren’t great. So something 50/50 off and on road, ready for winter and perhaps a little bigger (get some lift). What would people suggest?

What tyres and size do you currently have?
If you want to go up a size but keep the original wheels the largest you could go are 235/85/16 which are about the same as the old fashioned 7.50's
