Hello all,

New to this, so apologies if this has already been covered previously, but a but I'm looking for some help with my 2008 90 2.4 tdci. It has always started really well and been reliable, but just over the last month or so it slowly got harder to start, until it finally gave up and wouldn't fire a week or so ago.

It's the first tdci I've had, so I'm probably missing something really obvious, but does anyone have any advice on what to check?

Fuel is still pumping through really well when you crank it, I've just changed all 4 of the glow plugs because I thought it might be those...doesn't seem to be a dodgy wiring issue or an immobiliser issue as it slowly got worse until it stopped altogether...

Could it be a dud relay? I've checked they are all properly pushed in etc but...

Any thoughts or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Is it cranking normally or slowly? What voltage is in the battery before you start cranking? And what does the voltage drop to during cranking? (I'm thinking battery might be duff).
