Hi guys n dolls :) ... I've just fitted 235/70r16 BF Goodrich mud terrains to my disco 1 but what tyre pressure should I be running them at on the road ? Thanks .. I've got 30lb all round just now !!!

Cheers for that :) .. I would have thought there would have been slightly more in the front cause of the weight or the engine ? But I'm wrong quite a lot lol :)

The recommended pressures are as Redhand says - however they are woefully too low.

LR suggest those pressures as they knew that most of these Discos were used as Chelsea tractors, never fitting off-road tyres, never going off-road, and LR were more concerned with on-road comfort than pretty-much anything else.

The other downside to low tyre pressures is more drag; more drag cause lower mpg.

As a general compromise I would suggest 33 in the front and 36-38 in the back, depending on what you have in the boot. If you tow, increase the rears to - load dependant - 42psi.
