wow just WOW ive been wanting to try this for so long on my 300tdi 90 and what a diffrence its like a new defender loads of power, quick acceleration and its the best and cheapest mod with the most results but with the power came a little smoke under hard acceleration only its a small compromise ...results ....do it ;)

Easy, twiddle a few bits, turn a screw or two - but one thing at a time Storm... you done the other bits yet? Got your boost gauge fitted?

Send you some bio to start the fire with! :)

it was pretty easy using the pics att i turned the power adjustment screw clockwise one full turn and took it out for a test drive with loads of smoke but the power and speed was amazing & crazy fast :D so i turned the smoke adjustment screw counter clock wise two turns and turned the power adjustment screw back a 1/4 turn , then adjusted the idle screw to suit ..

Hi, My landy 300tdi came with the pump tweeked but I think its too high... a lot of smoke when pushing it hard... what is the part that you turn down on the pump to reduce it? many thanks

Is there any smoke off boost or only on boost?

Hi, Its only on boost as far as I can see but seems a lot + its guzzling fuel.
thanks.

Tdi guzzling fuel = heavy right foot or really poor servicing, unless you've got ridiculous gearing. Let's face it, Defender aerodynamics aren't your friend - keep the speed down or pay lots of fuel duty.

If the air filter isn't blocked and it goes like stink on boost, with a marked difference between on and off boost, then someone's probably rotated the diaphragm in the injection pump through 180 degrees from stock. I've had some wine this evening and it's affecting my typing... I'll get back to you with some ideas on what to check next.

Cheers,
