Turning problem !

hi there, ive just bought a 1996 disco 300tdi for the winter. it seems to drive fine but ive noticed that when i turn on full lock the disco seems to want to go straight forward.does anyone have any idea what this could be or how to sort it ? any help appreciated , thanks john.

jack one front wheel up .if it wont turn your in difflock

I'd start with your rear diff.

make sure the small gear lever is pushed to the right in the transmission (H).

thanks for the replies, yeah ive tried moving the lever in all different positions. no difference. someone said today the diff lock could be stuck. whats the best way to free it off ?

Following on from that is there an orange light on the dash top right?
It could help to show if the Diff locks on.

Can you confirm if it goes into low range.

jack each wheel in turn and try them one at a time at rear with hand brake off
