Transfer cable broken

Hi all. I recently bought my first disco 2 and have been working through everything that's needing done to it. One of the problems if the cable for high\low selection is snapped. It has snapped at the base of the lever, question is it easy enough to replace? changing it the lever seems really easy but there seems to be zero access to where it connects at the transfer box, I cant even get me hand into it!!!!!
