Was running a little rough today so got the temperature lazer sensor on it and 1 was a little cold, changed it for a new plug and goes like hell now :D, still need to sort the box though habing no kickdown is a PITA :(

Not much enthusiasm tonight after workinh on a stupid D3 all day. Whoever designed that engine wants shooting !! :(

Still adjusted the handbrake so it actually works now. And had a look at the water system as im still not happy with it.

Rules regarding welding to cage please what can and can't be welded (unless youre doing KOV because it looks like they really don't gove a **** :D )

Im looking at mounting a rad support on at the back, I know harness mounts are allowed but id like some way of supporting the top of my rad to keep it kore stable

Looking into a custom ally rad though :D

Good to see this thread back up and running, Be nice to see what plans you have :D

Plenty of plans just time and funds allowing :D and I actually want to use it and not be continuously building the damn thing :D

Looked into my inverted radius arm mounts today and I cant do it with these axles due to spring location so probably end up shoving some TD5 disco axles under sometime soon :)

Yeah, I agree about actually using it and not continuously building it.

But that's my problem.
I keep thinking of stuff I want to do before I put it on the road.
When I should just get it to a finished(ish) state and upgrade stuff as I go.

Done a few small hits recently trying to get her done, fuel sensor wuring is now done and drivers seat is in perminatly now (I hope)

Ordered some piping to make a solid air intake with as few doins as possible so thats a target for the weekend, new kickdown cable is coming tomorrow so hopefilly get that fitted and then the floor can go back in then I can work on the tunnel and gear arrangement.

Still undecided whether to make a full custom dash or just bodge the old one for now :/

So close yet so far ... haha

That's sweet but I'd use a hose for the horizontal and weld a couple of mounts to the piece that passes through the bulkhead to avoid vibration.

Yeah im going to see what it's like the plan is to make a mount for through the bulkhead and mabie add a small piece of rubber somewhere to reduce vibration and twist

Welded and painted the air intake :)

And changed the kick down cable tonight, impossible without a second pair of hands !!

The sump seal has a crack in it so ill get a new one tomorrow then I can refill :)

At least the floor can go back in now once ive checked what a few wires from the RR do (I dont think much usefull to me) and sort out the TB lever hole and a mount for the auto selector then its improve the water system time :D

Decided to move the gear and transfer box levers to a more ergonomic position for bucket seats and harnesses, makes tunnel modifications obsolete :D ill just civer over the hole and be done with it :)

Pics when its done :)
