Towbar

Morning

my 99 XEDi left the factory without a tow bar as far as i can gather.

Im looking for a second hand one at the moment.

My question is regarding the electrics - Is the wiring for the bar present,tucked away somewhere or will I have to get all that sorted.

was hoping that everything is there and it will be more or less aplug and play thingy

Should be plug 'n' play connector nehind the rear panel as listed.

some lr dealers are selling oe towbars for about £50 as they have a glut of them ,wireing is a cheep plug in however if you want a 12s socket this is a £60 plug in that is a pain in the arse to fit

sorry i seen it on this website or the landrover network you will have to try a search i came across it when i was looking for 12s wiring info i think hope this helps

Yep Id like one of those but like the idea of a new LR one for £50 even better !!!

Do you still have the detachable towbar for sale?
If so will it fit an 06 freelander?
Is it in good condition? I mean is it corroded at all?

All q's in one go, I am interested if in good nick or can be easilly put into good nick.

Ian, did you get your 12s wiring sorted, and if so where did you get your info from?

I just got meself a towbar, fitted it no problem, just not too sure about the 12s wiring, any info would be welcomed with open arms - cheers MIB
