Hi, my Freelander came with a towbar, but I never have and never will need to use it.

Is it an easy job to remove, or is it better just to leave as-is?

Thanks for that, but what about the electrical connection?

I can see a black electrical cable running back from the socket next to the towball, but where does it go/how does it attach to the source?

it runs up inside the car at the offside rear. If yu remove the rear quarter interior panel, in the corner there is an access point - just forard of that the cable plugs into the main loom. Easy peasy - ussuming yu aint dun it before - about 30 mins :D

just unplug and carefully pull down through bottom of body.

Soz, not been on the web far a while, have you sold it? If not whats the price PM me if you like.

Not sure what the going rate is?

still need to take it off yet though!

Had a quick look at the weekend, and it looks like to get the electrical connector off (o/s rear light) you need to remove the whole side panel from the back door to the boot, which involves removing the seatbelt? I didn't have a big enough star head to take it off, so will have to get one first
