Tow ball with pin

Mole Valley Farmers do a tow ball with pin like this.



It's only about £11 and I've seen these for much more than that, but it DOES SAY it's rated to 3.5 tonne, same rating as others. What do you recon?

Yep. Got one like that on the Discovery. Brilliant for recovery. Just put the pin thru the loop on the end of the rope and it isn't going nowhere.

You werent paying attention to our stall in the Old Sodbury...

My mate had one of those there for sale...dont know how much he was asking though

I did notice one on another stall but wasn't specifically looking for one at the time, he wanted £30 just for this or £80 for the whole thing including the bars for a 90.... But I don't have a 90 and £30 was waaay too much for just this.

I'm a cheap Charlie northerner remember

No mate, I saw it in store and looked on the website first instead of putting up that pic (the one they have isn't that..... 'PRETTY'??)

But they don't have it on't web. I'll pick one up tomorrow and throw a pic up here for you.

DUH.. How wrong can one man be?

Right, here's the skinny. I am a tool. The tow bar and hitch is not 'about £11' at all. The £11 one is just the tow ball, but when I was there someone had put all the tow and hitches in the £11 compartment and me being me didn't read the description, just the price.

They had none of the ones I wanted, just an orange 'heavy duty one' which as mentioned by someone earlier said the maximum weight for the vehicle being towed is 1500kg..

So that one's out the window and I'll stick with what I've got for now and get a Dixon Bate later down the line

I got a Dixon Bate Ball and Pin coupling for £39.95 at our local independant trailer place. Lovely bit of kit ...
