Top Defender mods?

So what do we reckon are the most important or most useful mods for a Defender?

And, of course, why?

(Just a bit of fun... maybe. My 90 is pretty well stock at the moment; it arrived 100% unmodified and all I've done is put rubber mats in and tart up the gearstick gaiters that were getting a bit tatty. So if you come up with some really good suggestions then I might well go for them.)

A brain (instead of a nut) behind the wheel.

My fav is lowering and low profile tyres, tinted windows an fill the back up with amps and a boom box......

I put a coal fire and a swan-necked bathtub in mine. As a luxury there was a bookcase with the complete works of Shakespeare in case i ever get stuck in Belgium.
And a sausage roll maker.

You shouldve gone fer the tinted windows anorl....wouldve saved you a whole lotta grief

I have installed a flat screen LCD and a drinks bar

Mine is my urn.

It's great for hot drinks and aiding in vehicle repairs.

Well a container with a tap on which we put red wine in.

With a pipe connected to the sun visor! Red wine on a drip feed. One drip per 10th of a mile!

Patently, you'll get far more sensible answers if you start by asking about tyres.

Not so keen on that one. If they're bright enough to look in the driver's side window then they'll be disabused of that idea very quickly

On the other hand, it might be useful to have a source of heat to help get the ice off the insides of the windows, the dash, the seats, the driver...

I have tinted windows, 2 amps, 6x9s, 6 inches and a sub in mine Well no sub now since some cretin broke the cone.

ive gone for the black bonet and 2 old suit cases on the roof look with mine.

Most of 'em come with tyres as standard.......Unless you get it from Scouselandshire
