coveted my mates ‘84 early defender doors - the Santana type, one piece with lift up handles and winding windows….
finally found a set with most of the hen’s teeth components included - well happy!
Two questions for you guys thow….if anyone knows -
The lock barrels have a longer nose than most, which isn’t an issue, mine came with, and I see that spares are available MUC4146…what I’m trying to find is if there’s a rear safari door lock that takes those odd Santana longer nose lock barrels so I could go all posh and have one key for all?
Then the other question, the waist ‘capping’ trim pieces are missing MUC3928 & MUC3929 and those really are rocking horse poo…don’t suppose anyone knows where I could get some would you?
My next thought is to make some from an old tub capping - or I could remove the nubbins that it should clip onto and fill…..but I think I’ll regret it.
