Took plug out from injector harness

Unplugged the plug to the injector harness to check for oil as the red plug had oil in it and the bastard pins in the plug stayed in there.I don't think this is normal.what do I do now

if your talking about the cylinder head end of the injector harness the pins stay in the plug

Pins are always in plugs, holes are in sockets.

The plug to the injector harness has holes in it. The injector harness itself has the pins
