thoughts on my first disco

I've blanked egr off on mine too and put some bigger tires on there's loads I want to do but just need money!! Lol I've started having fellow disco drivers flashing me n sticking thumb up had one other day coming home from work thru pleasley! Wonder if it's anyone off here??

was it easy to blank it off?
do many at work on mondeos but not even looked where it is on disco. and where did you get the tyres was they local?

what do people think to stickers? mate says he got his whole scooby sticker set for £20. thinking about it its cheap enough and if i dont like it its no big loss

Got tires n wheels off my mate round corner lol, egr is easy only 2 bolts got my blanking plate off eBay for about £3

he got any more tyres ?

No mate ,they was off his defender as he got some new ones

was planning do strip down the doors tonight so i can start doing the springs in the locks but didnt manage to. :-(

Can be a pain taking locks out as u have to lift the window frame out! Messed with mine a few times changed lock and actuator but still having probs getting in drivers side! Lol sometimes it works most off time it will central lock it's self when u pull handle so have to use key in door or pull the door lock up from inside! It's not the springs tho as i changed the lock and it still did it but both new n old lock worked when not on car! So changed actuator...still same so god knows!!! Lol I can live with using key to get in central locking still works,.. so yeah good luck with the springs! ;-)

its only boot door and drivers door that needs doing. i think :-s

Haven't got a clue with my drivers door! Lol my boot door lock was starting to play up other week had to really pull on handle for it to click open so took card off to have a look n It was a plastic part that had come off its pin so just needed clicking back on,works bang on now.. N no money spent!

my boot wont open at all unless i use key.

Could be actuator or spring u need to get door card off n have a look

Could be owt with disco door locks!! Think they was built to do your head in! Lol mines still a mystery !!

had a quick look around on internet today see what was selling locally. found one i like has allready got all mods i wanted to do but hes after cash as well. see what sort of deal i cAn come to tommrow.
