don't do it.
hi this is my 1st post, ive just bought a 96 3.9 V8i LPG Disco XS 3 months ago and i love it! couldnt tell you what type of conversion its had (im new to this) its made by LOVATO and has twin underslung tanks. any good? Lee
I've heard it said single point lpg ain't much good. Get a tdi, that's my opinion
It's a 3 door, 63,000 P reg (October 1996) Disco converted to single point lpg with the tanks under the car. 3 previous owners with an MOT till September. Don't know much more about it yet, I will probably see it at the end of the week.
I have just sold my Freelander, and I know it is a bad example of a Land Rover but I also think I should have learnt my lesson. But at the end of the day all makes and models of cars have their problems, the good thing about getting another one is that I live along the road from a Landy electrician and 5 miles from Keith Gott in Alton - who seem honest and helpful previously.
Oh, and I nearly forgot... Is a single point not as good just because it doesn't have the V8 power any more or are there other reasons?
Realistically I'll be using it on the road, but I may venture into the mud in the future - I had one day of it recently and I'd like to do it some more.
