So, there are not a lot of D5 availables here where I live(Spain), I was offered a 2018 Disco5 with 84k miles on the clock. It's a 3,0L diesel engine. It's being sold by LR("approved" car) with 2 yeards warranty, all services done by an official LR garage.
I know about the engine issues, the warranty seems good in this case.

What do you guys think? thoughts?

Only you can tell yourself?
Take it for a test drive! Then take a look at the Pros and Cons!
Can you afford it?? (I.e. if it does, for whatever reason stop??)

I have a Discovery Td5! When it's time for its annual MoT!! I have £4/500 just incase??

well, some how for 2yrs it "should" be covered by warranty, then ... who knows.
seems risky.
My main concern was, is 84k on the clock too much for a 2018 D5?

Thanks.

There's over 680.000km roads in Spain?? So that's one reasonable explanation 😅🤣

As above!! Test drive! Take a look at the history and owner/s??

Assuming it's in kilometres, 84k is just over 50k miles. Don't forget to check small print on the warranty. My nephew has just had to pay out for a new turbo. All was in order with services, Invoices, etc but the warranty company just wouldn't commit to pay and now ignoring all attempts to contact. (Not JLR by the way.)
