Afternoon/evening all,
Possibly a dramatic title to the thread but I am losing my tether with this now so I thought I'd throw the situation out there to see if it sounds familiar to anyone!

Right, friend's TD5 110, early one. ABS and TC lights on as well as brake warning light. Plugged Nanocom V1 into it, read the ABS ecu, Shutter valve switch electrical fault (intermittent) so I took the stance of a midwife and took the shuttle valve switch off the bottom of the abs modular whilst still in place (ie through the air inlet "hole" in the wing) and did the standard switch mod that everyone does to TD5 disco's with the same problem (when the switch itself is working and giving correct readings)

Cleared the fault, and still hasn't come back....the lights however, they are still on. ABS goes off and comes back on after starting, TC stays off but if you hit the brake pedal it comes on.

What bugs me, is that there is no fault, and yet the lights are still waving at me!!

The worrying thing is I've just got a TD5 Disco as a family run about so the 90 200tdi can still have fun....this best not be an example of things to come!

Use your Nanocom to initiate a shuttle valve cycle then a modulator cycle. Dont remember what option it is off top of my head but will look it up. Been OK ever since. I did the power bleed several times to each wheel as it effectively pumped new fluid though each brake circuit. Obviously you need to crack the bleed nipples at each caliper to get the fluid to flow. However just going through the cycling options without bleeding cleared my problem after LR said I needed a new modulator and shuttle valve. I think the shuttle valve just gets a tad sticky in normal use and forcing it to cycle a few times cleans things up.

Still having an issue with this guys, I have tried the power bleed and modulator bleed but was on my own so couldn't crack nipples (do I need to?) and done an output thing to each wheel sensor and no issues.

What's weird is that there is still no fault at all, but when you turn key abs light goes off then on, brake light sometimes flickers but sometimes is solid, and tc light is either on or off, but at the moment is solid on. I have a TD5 disco and when you start that the modulator makes a noise like a self test...this doesn't, should it?

I have tried cycling the lights on and off with nanocom but that doesn't work either.....any ideas, this is driving me nuts!
