hi all
could anyone give me some advice with a problem i seem to have started.
it started when some scrote decided to try to help himself to one of my rims fitted with a new all terrain tyre.
the locking wheel nut was sheared off and the rest were slackened.
i found this out the hard way doing 60mph.
i had to replace the stud in a hurry and as i had just fitted a new hub two weeks ago took the abs sensor out to get the new stud in.
the cars traction control is now cutting in all the time.
i plugged it in and was told weak signal from the lh sensor.
i cancelled the code off and it did the same again straight away.
the 3 amigos are now on so the car drives ok.
is there a technique regarding removing the sensor or have i ballsed up.
thanks in advance.

yes as long as a sensor is reading different than the others at the same speed that's what happens, the SLABS interprets it as difference in wheel speeds and activates the TC to equalise them... is this low reading from the hub you've replaced? and if yes was it a cheap hub from ebay? ... some cheap hubs have the wrong number of teeth on the reluctor ring then nothing will help but a new good quality hub

when ever you put a sensor back tap it gently into it's place then tighten the screw and give contact spray into i's plug... if no joy take the sensor from the old hub and swap them
