Hi folks can someone help , I had the three amigos so i replaced the abs sensor in the front right hub “ no discernible play in the bearings “ this cleared the warning lights but when I drive the traction control light comes on and the car brakes, strangely pressing the clutch clears this and e allows me to drive normally however this happens constantly, can this be the air gap between the sensor and the hub ring and would this mean it’s either to large or to small incedently my terrafirma code reader shows no faults.

Hi, there is no fault code cos the sensor passes the system's stationary self test but it's a missballance between sensor inputs at the same speed so the ECU interprets it as a wheel slip and activates the TC. Can happen due to the air gap or even if different brand sensors are fitted also there are aftermarket hubs which have 55 teeth on the reluctor ring instead of 60 like they should so the inputs are different because of that buy if the system worked well before that sensor failed it's not that... swap the two front sensors between them and see what happens then
