TD5 Drivers window

Hi Guys

Hoping to get some assistance with a U/S drivers window on my TD5 2003.

Door window became very slow and intermittent to close and has know given up the ghost completely.

I have so far.

replace motor
checked fuses
check relays
checked switches in console

all work fine but when put together for drivers window no joy.

All other windows and sunroofs work fine.

Advice please

check where the wiring is entering in the door.... the wire bundle between the door and the body (inside the rubber boot)...it used to snap there
