TD4 front propshaft

hi guys , i have a 52 plate td4 which has a split front prop rubber boot is the only way to repair these by buying a new prop or has someone come up with a good fix for these yet ?

Some have tried a drive shaft gaiter, but they seem to fall off. The rubber repair kit which LR sold was very good, so they stopped selling it. I'm going to try the gaiter trick when I get round to it.
