Hi everyone. hope you are all well? When I get a dry spell I want to refit my propshaft I will be working alone with the freelander 1 raised up on front axle stands, Method of working would be to fit the vcu 1st then prop shafts as it is all joined at present does this sound an ok way of refitting?

Don't let the weight of the props strain the UJs.

I usually lay out on space in centre of where car will be. Drive over. Lift car. Have 2 stands for supportin the props and use long bolts to put vcu loosely in place. Then connect IRD and diff.

Then block of wood and jack up VCU ensuring square on and aligned.
Tighten VCU bolts.
