Front Drive Shaft CV/Gator boot

Hi all, hoping someone may know the answer…. finding buying just the gator boot or a gator boot/cv combo for the front driveshaft (between VCU and front axle for clarification) very difficult!

boot has been split and it’s thrown the grease… figure I may as well do the joint as well if possible while 8m there…)

Otherwise Im going to throw in a replacement drive shaft (please correct me if I’m wrong but all the FL1 drive shafts I believe are the same with the exception of the v6 not having the balancer)

The part number they quote though appears to be for the whole front shaft not just the gaiter. Maybe it isn't a LR orderable part so has no number?

I think you can probably use a V6 shaft on other engines and visa versa - but don't hold me to it. If you replace the whole prop mechanism including VCU - be careful as the replacement VCU may be knackered even if the props are OK. Make sure you test it.
