TD 5 misfire

On a long run this week my td 5 developed a misfire. It seems to come and go. Sometimes if i turm it off and then restart the misfire will go for a while then it comes back . Drove for an hour today with no problem then it just started to misfire again !!! Any advice here

oil int loom? replace injun loom and clean ECM loom.

My TD5 misfired only when well warm, cause was a faulty injector. Diagnostics will show open circuit fault on the appropriate injector if it is a fault. Quite common for injector faults to show only when engine warm. My fault would clear every time from a cold start until the engine got warm again. Loom faults can cause misfires from cold, injectors cause warm-engine misfires.
