TC light and HD lights are amber

Hi There,
When driving, the Traction Control light and Hill Decent lights, on the dash, show up amber,but will go out, after pressing the brake pedal . This problem will happen a few times while driving

IN SHORT /AMBER LIGHTS/PRESS BRAKE PEDAL/LIGHTS GO OUT

HELP NEEDED PLEASE

You probly dont need help,ive got all 3 orange lights going sometimes,dont seem to affect anything atall.

I'm guessing one (or more) brake sensor is failing...

If it's after 2002my then it's usually the brake light switch.......

It wouldn't be telling you there is a brake light bulb out would it?

(I've just spent 2 hours replacing one rear wheel ABS sensor - not a pleasant job.)

Had this fault last week ,changed brake light switch next to brake pedal and cured the problem ,about £8 if you look around.

brake light switch should be first port of call, especially as it clears when pressing brake pedal. it's a cheap thing to try first, dog easy to change too.

Sounds right,my ambers were coming on .I didn't realise that there was problem till my rear right indicator stopped working.I usually check all lights a few times a week,,might explain some corsa driver lit up my interior after I overtook it on the motorway.

Ordered new brake light switch, will fit it as soon as it comes in .
